Flowers have taken over my island and have thrown all of my terraforming ideas straight into the trash. It also takes me several shovels AND all of my pockets and if I press the wrong button I end up picking my flowers instead.

Also, terraforming literally takes ages because you have to lay each path/cliff/water one at a time.

I wish there was an "island editor" mode similar to the decorate-your-house mode that let you terraform/edit your flowers all at once.

Yes! Or I wish I could terraform with the flowers there and get rid of them, you know what I mean? I hate when I'm destroying/building a cliff but I have to dig up a zillion flowers first!

if flowers could go in storage, they could just put all flowers that we terraform over into our storage. like maybe it’s an option, or if your pockets are full.

If there was like a separate creative mode in new horizons (like the one in minecraft) I feel like I would do so much more planning and actual terraforming.

That'd be nice. I really hate how there's certain restrictions for the storage. I wish I could put flowers, turnips, and DIYs in my storage all the time.

I'm having the same problems. All my beaches are full of flowers because of flower-spreading. I made the mistake of TT a bunch during May, when it pretty much rained every day. And with terraforming, the way the game selects the block to destroy or build is annoying. Sometimes my character will slide a whole block forward to build a tile in the river. So an island-editor would be great~, or at the very least something to show which square is being selected.

Rome wasn’t built in a day. I think one by one is perfectly fine. I usually watch something when I have to terraform because of how monotonous it is. Definitely agree with the storage thing, though.

The island editor mode using a stylus. Now THAT would be handy! Too bad the game isn't touch screen, aside from the chat.

It's nice that you can't accidentally kill flowers in this game and that they don't wilt (unless they do and I just haven't seen it yet) but at the same time, having to use a shovel to move them is annoying.

I really wish we could stack and store flowers. I gave up halfway through terraforming because I had nowhere to put all of my flowers to get them out of the way. I also wish destroying cliffs would destroy the flowers on them.

I don't mind having to place one tile at a time while terraforming, but the animation for it is too long. It's not bad when you're only doing a small section, but it adds up when you're doing a lot of work. Also, building/destroying/rounding are all tied to the same button which slows things down even more. It's too easy to accidentally do the wrong one.

Only thing I like is that you don't have to water your flowers to keep them alive.. that would be an annoying job
