Hiya do you make town plans like have a square grid and map out the town square by square? Because I'm looking for some advice for planning towns and I can find any sort of .software where I can plan my town square by square.

I map out towns using Preview on Mac with a drawing tool. I don't plan square by square unless the client would specifically ask for it, which has not happened. I tend to just draw rough lines as a guide for myself, and draw out a more detailed map for clients. But, as I said before I use a drawing tool not a map maker/ grid maker
