Only three Wasps a day...?

So since we’re in Fall now and we need an unreasonable amount of pinecones to do most DIYs, I’ve been shaking trees a lot. Of course, sometimes wasp nests fall out but, over the last three days, I noticed that I only get three nests per day.

After that, absolutely nothing...

Is that normal? Is that the case for anyone else? And why are pinecones so freakin’ rare? I’ve only gotten 4 so far and i shake my trees every day on an almost hourly basis!

The best way to get pine ones and acorns is to find a tree with a lot of space and keep shaking. I get at least 10 a day that way.

Hold your net the first time you shake. If you're standing in front of the tree when a nest falls, you'll automatically turn toward it and can nab the beastie before it stings.

If you have too many flowers or other stuff around your trees then sometimes the wasp nests dont have space to fall. They will be stuck in that tree until you clear space around it and can shake them out.

Just as a point of reference, you need a total of 35 acorns, 31 pine cones, and 51 maple leaves to craft the entire fall seasonal set.

As for the wasp question, ya that's normal. 3-4 Wasps spawn daily.

There are 5 wasp each day. After I placed a lot of flowers around some trees it dropped to 3 a day.
Try shaking your fruit trees for acorns. After harvesting the fruit trees I collected 18 acorns on the 1st day. 2nd day I had enough pine cones and acorns to complete all the recipes.
Mystery Island are a good place to get fall items and you can leave the mess. It's also a good place to get fully grown trees to take home.

Weird, it's the other way round for me. I was getting 3 nests a day before, now that the season has changed I'm getting 5.

I really want to gather the acorns and pines even though there's only like... 1 or 2 items I really want to craft and don't even have the DIYs for them.
