I was wondering what options you have for people visiting.
✴︎Will there be special activities so you can play games with villagers too?
It would be fun to play those special games like at Kapp'n's island!
✴︎Can you set your island to different things like:
Visitors cannot pick up items or put them down
Visitors cannot run etc...
Unless AC see's it that this is a risk you take when inviting people to your island
✴︎Special requests from villagers to you and visitors
✴︎After you have visited someone and vice versa if you have them as a favourite friend and therefore, they are trusted, you should be able to send each other letters without having to be on the same island.
✴︎I wonder if there will be a ew venue to go to that makes visiting each other much more fun?
I never visited anyone other than my sister for the whole time I've played AC so I can only base my experience off that.
Messaging on the screen can be a bit difficult too so having some presets you could create and save would help out!
✴︎Not too sure what will happen if someone wants to corrupt your town and it auto saves?
How will AC combat this potential threat?

One thing I’m worried about is how it will be playing online with 8people...I hope it isn’t laggy...Mario maker for example is unplayable online due to lag. Pok?mon wild area online is so laggy. I know it’s not my internet because online on Xbox works great...so I’m worried about online acnh.
However I hope you can make it to where people can’t pick up items lying around for one like moo-kun said.

I cannot for the life of me, work out what 8 people are supposed to do in a single town that would be anything near approaching entertaining. I feel it'll be a convoluted mess in I'm being honest.
Online is useful for trading, seeing how spectacular other peoples towns are and hanging out a bit. I think the 8 players thing is overkill and could feel a little tacked on just for the sake of it.

I'm hoping they've created some more thought provoking mini activities with higher stake rewards. Again, hopeful. There has to be a greater incentive to get players to pay an online membership subscription.

Probably the same as with New Leaf: shopping/fishing/bug catching in other players' towns, talking their villagers, play island tours or something equivalent, selling items in their towns, ect. Hopefully, dlc and other rare items are still tradable through online and that hasn't been removed in New Horizons. Maybe a few more options will be added like the ability to catch all bugs and fishes in someone else's town.
