What's one thing you would add into Animal Crossing: New Leaf if you had the choice? ^.^

Probably more to do as a mayor. Public works projects are great, and so are ordinances, but once you've decided on an ordinance, the only thing left is upgrading and customizing the town through public works. I like the idea of doing stereotypical mayor things, like giving a key to the city to your favorite villager (maybe to prevent them from moving?). You could make it illegal for foreigners to cut down trees or pick up flowers, so when visiting players try to cut things down without your permission, Copper comes and intervenes. You could make a custom holiday and choose what day it is, what to name it, how to celebrate it, what decorations go up in the plaza, or what type of gifts Isabelle will give to any visitors to your village that day.

But if I had to choose just one mayor thing, it would be the laws that restrict what visitors can do. It would keep the griefers and thieves at bay, which is always the goal when it comes to multiplayer mode in a world-building game.

There's so many things I would add and some of them already been mentioned. Since I have to choose one, I would want a more stable online gameplay. It seriously sucks having to be afraid that the connection will be lost.

This. But to add my own, I'd love it if you could lock patterns that you've put on the ground, so that you couldn't accidentally pick them up and you wouldn't need to always have the pattern in your pattern tab.

That's hilarious. Makes me imagine the person getting escorted to the train station by Copper/Booker and forced to leave. :)

I like a lot of your ideas in general though. Adding in the ability to be mayor in NL was a step in the right direction for Animal Crossing, I think, so you can make your town how you want it. But it'd be nice if the mayor could do even more. For instance, being able to make 1 custom holiday sounds like a fun idea.

It'd be nice if public works themselves were more customizable. Someone wants to rotate them. I like that. It'd also be nice to be able to choose the colors or designs of them, similar to Cyrus' furniture thing.

I'd love it if Blathers would put a stamp in your encyclopedia after donating something to the museum. Even though I try to always donate as soon as possible, I only realized the other day that I hadn't donated a flea yet, even though Mira's had a ton of them.

Also, I second locking patterns, although I can't think of how to actually do it.

I really love that first idea! It would also kind of give you a sense of accomplishment afterwards, too.

A Trading Post where you can list an item for other players to sell or buy an item another player has to sell over the internet. If the game senses you can't get on the internet than the npc would buy the item straight from you.

An Auction House? Oh, please no! These absolutely ruin other MMO games I play such as Diablo III
