on day two of a reset island can a villager in boxes move in?

so i wanted to do an experiment, i recently reset my island and im on day two, i've placed down the plot for nook's cranny, and tomorrow im getting villager plots.So i wanted to know if i could invite a villager in boxes from someones town, on day two, is this possiable?

you can invite someone as early as you have placed down a house plot
