Yep, they can forget, it's kind of crummy because I always stress out and like go running and like, wait where are they and when I go find them they're like "Oh sorry!" it's not a new thing with the update or anything it's always happened.

i wasn't playing at the time i was just waiting so i clicked home and i guess it was paused?? if that's what u mean and when i came back it was two mins after we were supposed to meet

yeah i heard they can be late/early depending on the villager type but i never knew they could cancel

I was sitting in my seat waiting for Anchovy and he said from outside that he would need to run a errand and was getting late.
I waited for five minutes when he finally showed up.

I recall that Bubbles always forgot planned visits despite the fact my ticket gate was closed.

If we put the 3DS in sleep mode, then they would not show up, after all the game runs in real time and the time would keep running if we let it inactive for a while.

Happened to me before >~< I was casually waiting for Whitney to show up for like 15 minutes or so but after I while I got bored and just went outside to find her. When I talked to her she said she was sorry but something else came up. Honestly! So rood.
