Old Villagers vs New Villagers..

When deciding your dreamie villagers.. did you naturally gravitate towards your favourites from old games? or all the cool new villagers that have appeared in this version.
I'm actually quite shocked at how many of the food dreamies i have are new.. i've always loved all the villagers from previous games yet the only ones who will be dreamies are Tangy & Mint.. (as i might not be keeping Stitches)
Frita, Chadder, Lyman, Merengue, Tia, Zucker, Marshal.. are all new villagers :O
I honestly thought when i got New Leaf i'd mainly stick to the old villagers, but its been the opposite really.. though i suppose since mine will be themed its different..
In Azalea i have some old villagers i'm keeping Such as Vesta & Stitches, but mainly new aswell

When I first chose them I chose my old favourites but later on I changed them.

I said in New Leaf that I wanted a town full of new villagers or villagers I'd not experienced before (like Sydney & Astrid)

But I ended up letting in a few villagers I've had before and loved

all my dreamies are from my old town in ww. I don't really care for the new villigers....

I'd say stick with the new. 9/10 villagers from my town are people that are exclusive to New Leaf. I just feel like having completely new people makes the game a little more interesting imo.

For me, it's been a pretty even mix of old and new favorites.

Most of the ones that I went for are new, but I just had to get Stitches again <3~
He was one of the starters in my Wild World game. :3

It's strange because before New Leaf I hadn't really paid much attention to other animals... now I'm obsessed with them!
My all time favorite before New leaf was Bob. I had him in virtually each of my GC games (I've been playing since GC)

However, when I started new leaf this adorable goat called Kidd moved into my town and he's been "the" best villager in existence ever since!

In the first town I have a lot of old favorites...but in my second town I do have a lot of the newer characters so I guess both! I really liked some of the deer

I mostly gravitated towards new ones! The only ones I got back for a short while again was Amelia, Ed and Tutu.

I've hunted down all of my old villagers. Anchovy, Hugh, Jay, Mitzi, Friga, Maple, and Vesta are all old villagers that I've enjoyed on Wild World. Dierdre, Carmen, and Colton are new villagers that have grown on me. ;u;

A mix of both. But, I don't remember many from my original game, so it was hard to get old ones if I couldn't even remember old ones.

Mix of both. I think 3 of my villagers are one's I've had before, but the rest aren't ALL ones introduced w/ New Leaf, just some I haven't experienced before.

i stuck with my old favorite groucho. i wish i didnt delete my old town on gamecube because i loved him way more in that game. i wish olive was still in the games ; v ; i miss her so much
