Old villager visiting for over a week

So my old villager Cheri turned up a week or so ago.... And she is still here? I thought they only visited for a day but she has been there everyday on main street.

Is this normal?

It's normal. They will likely be in mainstreet from now until the end of time. Unless you move out 16 villagers after them. I moved out villagers in my first couple of weeks of gameplay in June and they are still wandering.

Phew I happened after a friend came over and the game freaked out and threw her out/ reset whilst she was in my village was worried I may have broken it somehow

once i get all my dreamies, the same ones will be there forever

this is why I made sure to try to give away ones I really hated… because I didn't want to see them on my main street.

Pretty sure they can still show up. Biskit and a few other moved from my town to my husbands and they still walk around main street.

They can still show up. A few villagers that got adopted by others from my town still show up on my main street.

They still show up. I've never voided a villager, but on my most recent move-out, the first villager I moved out started showing up always =_=
