Yeah, every time I host a giveaway, I make it a habit to use the search feature with the following settings:

[insert villager name] > Villager Trading Plaza > posts 1 week ago to present > show as posts.

I had three people show up within this week as actively searching for Olaf. Sent them all a VM. Since it's late I'll just close the 3DS and see if there are any replies when I'm awake again.
