Okay what the heck just happened?

Random move in move in like this, from what Ive observed

Day 1 of starting town: no one moves in
Day 2: Villager 6 plots
Day 3: Villager 6 in in boxes, no other move ins
DAy 4: Villager 7 plots, villager 6 is now roaming around town
Day 5: Villager 7 in boxes, no other move ins
DAy 6: Villager 8 plots, villager 7 is now roaming around town
Day 7: Villager 8 in boxes, no other move ins
Day 8: Villager 9 plots, villager 8 is now roaming around town
Day 9: Villager 9 in boxes, no other move in

Villager 10 is not random move in, you have to either get them from your campsite, Spotpass, or from another player


I dont time travel, I dont play with Spotpass on, I always turn it off, I just paid off my campsite yesterday, so today is technically the first day i had my campsite in my town, and no one has camped in it yet, and since restarting back on the 20th of July, no one has visited me, nor have I visited anyone else so I didnt pick up a void.


So can someone on here kindly explain to me how the HECK is my 9th villager plotting when my 8th villager is still in boxes?? Luckily my 9th villager is plotted in a spot I had designated for villagers because I didnt plot reset as I was not expecting a new plot today.

The ninth villager to move into a new town doesn't move in on a set schedule like villagers 6,7 and 8.They'll move in roughly between one and ten days after #8 moves in.In my first ACNL town,Bree(my #9)moved in five days after my #8.

Really? Well thats kind of annoying. and I did not know that.

So my 8th villager, Kyle, is in boxes today so today the day he moved in so its not day one after he moved in, its the same day Kyle moved in unless the plot counts as day one.

My 9th villager moved in before I had visited anyone, and nobody had visited me.

Yeah,a plot counts as a house so another villager can move in once the previous villager's plot has settled in your town.

Villager 9 move in is random and kind of rare. Forgot about this until a cranky got into my town for some reason.

Oh I actually didnt know about the fact, that the 9th villager move in is random and can take up to 10 days. I always had them in the same rhythm as the other villagers. Though this time in my town I worked with amiibo Cards so I basically had to plot reset every single day. Thank god thats over haha.
