Just found out... I'll be getting Mario Party DS on Friday, and Link's Crossbow Training w/ Zapper on Monday. So... if you guys are looking for impressions... you know who to ask.

;)

Reviews will be up next week.

GIMME MARIO PARTY IMPRESSIONS ASAP.

D:

I can't wait to hear what you think. I'm curious about both, but I'm also cautious about Mario Party DS... If it's like the GBA Mario Party, I won't be interested.

I highly doubt you could even sell that on the DS. (GBA Mario Party)

From what I've seen, it resembles the N64 Mario Parties more than any others... which is why I asked for it in the first place. I loved the ones on N64, but the GCN ones (and #8) were extremely disappointing.

I'm happy to hear that. Hopefully it won't just look like the N64 games.

I really disliked this one Mario Party 1 mini game where you play Tug of War by spinning to control stick... I always got a blister when playing that.

:(

Anyway, if a Mario Party DS is without Wi-Fi, its a no buy for me.

:(
Out of all games, I should expect that to have Wi-Fi.

I expect a PM tomorrow with MP DS impressions. =D

Yeah, Mario Party is the kind of game that really could make awesome use of Wi-Fi.

Yeah, but I like the series anyway. I own all of them except the DS version and the Nintendo 64 versions. I'll be getting the DS version whenj it hits stores on Wednesday(Canada's release date) and the Nintendo 64 versions if I can find them at a store.

I still have Mario Party 3... I think.

SSB came out at the same time as Mario Party, interesting factoid.

Same.

I hope some day 1, 2 and 3 show up on the VC.

Oddly enough, I don't own any Mario Party game.

But I've confirmed with my rep that Mario Party DS lacks and multiplayer online play... I haven't gotten the game yet, should get it in a few hours.

I'm just too sick of the Mario Party games. I haven't played one since Mario Party 5 and I hated it. You would think they'll innovate with the touch screen and WiFi to make a great game, but you would have thought they would have innovated with the Wii Remote and WiFi on the Wii.

I've been disappointed too many times by this series to care about it anymore.

MP6 is my favorite. The day/night feature was a blast.
Same, atleast out of the cubes... 6 is the winner.
