there's no way Bul would like it, but I lurve Flatfoot 56. Irish Punk Rock. Bagpipes and mandolins are present.

Mae is pretty good. "We're so far away" is pretty light, nice lyrics though... "Suspension" is one of my favorites.

Uhhhh... Sadly I love ]
Dude, the mandolin is present in like almost every modern flamenco song

;)

I'll give 'em a try.
yeah, thing is, the mandolins AND shouting, angry, irish dudes are present. Which makes it full of TheGremp appreciation.

You guys have to experience some Newfie music. It's inspired by Irish and English ancestry. Irish, mostly. Pretty great stuff.

Are you serious? >_<
Well, for people that listen to Irish and the such. I personally don't like Newfie music that much.

I hate it.
Sometimes I wish I live in another part of Canada.

Because a territory's music directly influences quality of life, am I right?

What's your problem?
You've upset the English, Snoop. I expect attacks on your house in the morning.

Great Big Sea, Buddy Wasisname and the Other Fellers, and that one Irish band, are a few of the Newfie artists I can listen to. It's a nice genre with a long history.

Snoop, if you would like to live anywhere else in Canada, get the hell off my island.

English Renaissance music is actually really good, especially considering the time period. Composers like John Dowland really knew what they were doing with the lute.

Any band/artist that was inspired by guys like Dowland gets a thumbs-up from me.

Oh hey, you want Jazzy Rock, try "Morphine"... The album "The Night" is great. You might like them...

Lol, Cranberries.

By the way, I totally understand why you like these groups.
