Imbri
Resident Night Mare
Finally got a few hybrids. A pink cosmos, which I put at Lolly's house (I'm using pink cosmos and blue violets), and it fits her house nicely.
The other was a black rose. Woohoo! That went right down to the secret beach for safe-keeping. Not sure what I'll use them for (assuming I get more), but I'm not taking any chances with it.
I got a few dandelions, one of which went to a puff. I'm thinking about maybe putting them in the cedar hideaway. Speaking of which, all it's missing now is the bench, but that will have to wait until Shari's better. Even I'm not so heartless as to try and get PWPs out of a sick villager.
Speaking of, I gave her another dose of medicine, so I'm hoping she'll be better in a day or so. At least it doesn't appear to be spreading to anyone else.
Antonio surprised me by just dropping in. He and Lolly are the only ones to have done that. Since Anabelle has given me her pic, I'd guess we're close enough that she might, as well.
Rizzo asked me to come over to his house. He likes such a simple design, there really isn't much to look at. I did take away a shirt he got from someone that totally didn't fit. Later, Stitches asked to come to my house. He was a couple of minutes late, saying that he got "really lost on the way over". I guess those two trees you have to go between to get from his house to mine will mess you up.
I ended up with a bunch of furniture pieces for my house, so I was able to keep Cyrus busy all day refurbishing things. I sent Sapphire to buy out Ables', since I'm now working on the mannequins for her. Most of it got sold, once I switched it to my pockets, but I did keep the red ribbon and the green dress. The Nookling Bandits gave me the Mushroom Mural and Varia's Suit from the fortune cookies.
Katrina was in town, so I sent everyone to see her. She had good fortunes for everyone except Emerald. Well, I don't run in town, anyway. I think one or two more visits should be enough to get her the Main Street Shop.
Purrl seems to have gotten hold of a shearling coat. Yes, it is a nice coat (I have one in my closet), but we're just a few days from Cherry Blossom time. Come on, Purrl, are you telling me I need to shop for your clothes, too?
I guess it could be worse. Someone got hold of a Grape Tee and has been spreading it to everyone. I know there are worse choices, but I'm beginning to feel like an extra in a Fruit of the Loom commercial!
Took a quick trip over to the island, but didn't end up doing any fishing or beetle catching. Hide-and-Seek was being offered, which is my favorite game. I played several levels of that, then returned to the gift shop, where the toy hammer was being sold. Just need the silver axe and gold tools (minus the slingshot) now. I also filled out the membership for Club Tortimer, although I don't think I'll use it much. Still, if the opportunity arises, I'm all set.
I thought I'd finish off by showing you a picture of my little hideaway I'm putting in the NE corner of town. All it needs is the log bench and a few more flowers tucked between the trees. Even though it isn't finished, it's still a favorite spot of mine to come and just hang out.
