oh god help me please

yesterday i logged in and the first thing that happened was punchy mentioning chief is planning on moving out. it was bunny day, though, so chief didnt ping me. i tried talking to him, but no mention of moving or me being able to make him stay at all. so i shrugged it off, and decided he'd ping me the next day, so today

but i logged in just now and he didnt ping me either ;v; tried talking to him again and no mention of moving either. i dont wanna tt to tomorrow and back in order for him to ping me, in case he moves tomorrow. What do i do?! D: i love him and i dont want him to move out

Reload the game, he should ping. Or hide from your villagers for 5-10 minutes then go in front of him.

Maybe try saving and quitting then going back on? Sometimes it makes them ping ^^

You save and quit. Go to the menu. Go in your town again. Now go to Chief and see if his pings.
If he doesnt then then do it all over again

My villagers today are telling me Marina wants to move, but she won't ping me either because other villagers keep pinging me first >.< haha

Remember villagers will only ping when they're walking around outside. Also sometimes villagers can be persistent and not ping but then all you gotta do is save n quit, find Chief again, stand infront of him and wait 5s for a ping. Also 2 villagers can't ping at the same time, so sometimes some random villager steals a ping.
