Oh Boy... Paths. Any Advice?

So I've been putting it off, and I've finally decided it's time for me to do paths, but I have a few questions before I take on such a daunting task.
1. Can other players help you lay them down? I wouldn't think so, but that would be so much easier.
2. How can they be accidentally destroyed? I want to know this so I can take all preventive measures that I can.
3. I really need help finding a path that matches my theme!! My town's name is Latte, and this is my mayor:

does anybody know a path that would fit the theme I'm trying to go for? I'm thinking soft, pastel colors, preferably in shades of brown/pink.
Any other advice would be greatly appreciated!!

1. You are the only one that can place the paths down.

2. You're the only one that can "destroy" them. It's just accidentally pressing "Y" but they're easy to put back.

3. x might be a good path for your theme.

I meant like, not everyone wants a dirt (path) town.
Course same for the 'ugly', 'unnatural' paper paths.

In addition to your questions being answered above by AccfSally, here's some additional information and/or suggestions.

1. I highly, highly recommend you make a second character and put the paths down with them. All my paths were made with my mayor and I regret that because I have no room for other QR codes, like clothing and such. If you know you won't be wearing QR patterns, and/or you're doing a path that doesn't have edges and corners, then you can disregard that.

2. You can change your paths all at once by replacing the QR codes with a new QR code at Ables. You don't have to go and relay all the paths again. That being said, if you get rid of that QR code, the paths will change with whatever is there. (Again, why I suggest using a different game character).

3. This is my favorite site to get paths from. They are still active and update frequently and have a good cataloging system. You can also just google path qr codes and you'll get tons of results.

4. There are no preventative measures against destroying your paths. You'll kick them up all the time on accident. Luckily you can just place them back down again. Usually if that happens, I either replace it then and there if I've got the design stored in that character, or I just wait until I'm done with everything before loading up whichever character has that particular design. (and avoid the area bc it bothers me to look at lol)

Good luck on finding the right path for you and like I said, you can replace QR codes to do a complete renovation of your paths, so don't be afraid to try out different things!
