Official Rate-My-Team Thread

Recently, a lot of people have been asking others to look at their teams and give them some ideas to make it better. Now, being the great guy that I am, I've decided to make it easier by putting it all into one thread.

My Team:
Infernape- Lvl 75- Flame Wheel, Rock Smash, Blast Burn, Fire Blast (M)
Luxray- Lvl 74- Discharge, Strength, Thunder, Crunch (M)
Torterra- Lvl 74- Earthquake, Leaf Storm, Frenzy Plant, Rock Climb (M)
Empoleon- Lvl 73- Metal Claw, Surf, Blizzard, Hydro Cannon (M)
Staraptor- Lvl 71- Fly, Brave Bird, Ariel Ace, Steel Wing (M)

I only use five, because I'm that cool.


B) I'm looking for suggestions for a sixth though. I'm considering Weavile, Gengar, or Alakazam.

Eh, its too basic. Throw in more DUal types Starters are more commonly used.

I was thinking about replacing Staraptor with Crobat and throwing in a Garchomp. I don't think I have any Dual-type Electric Pokemon other than Zapdos, which is not only Legendary but also about 25 levels shorter then I would like it to be. I was also considering maybe a Lucario, but I have both of his types covered. But he's my favorite fourth-gen Pokemon.

JJ, I've got a lvl 80 Weavill I don't use...he can be yours for the right pokemon.

I know. I need to work on those once I get my Pokemon to the level I want them at...

Empoleon-lvl 94-Surf,Hydro cannon,Flash cannon,Drill peck
Sceptile-lvl 76-Leaf blade,X scissor, leaf storm, detect
Blaziken-lvl 75-mirror move,fire punch,sky uppercut, over heat
Gallade -lvl 71-Pschyco cut, leaf blade, brick break, thunderbolt
Flygon-lvl71-Draco meteor,dig,fly, dragon claw

I'm planning on replacing my Blaziken with a Charizard so my Flygon can stop using fly(I feel bad teaching it 2 2-turn moves) and I'm also planning to teach night slash to my Gallade so it had a high critical hit ratio on almost all moves and a decent attack back on a Ghost type..

7/10 for the guy on the island.

Two things:

1. I'm thinking about breeding my Infernape and trying to get a Chimchar that knows ThunderPunch. Opinions? I also may trade in Torterra and Empoleon for a few new ones. (Proabably Garchomp, a grass type, and a water type.)

2. Gengar, when you said that your lvl 80 Weavile could be mine for the right PKMN, I'm assuming you meant a certain Shiny Haunter?

Regarding #1, I think I may scrap my whole team and start anew. (Other than Infernape, which I'll replace with Chimchar if I can get one wtih Tunderpunch.) Any suggestions? I think it may be:
Infernape
Crobat
Garchomp
Weavile
*Water*
*Grass/Electric*

I like it a lot, and the move sets are pretty good, but I think you should try to get them all around the same level. Battling just seems easier that way to me.

I see little point in that, personally. When I battle, I use the Auto-lvl-50 thing...most of the time.

2.infernape Lv.44:flame wheel, close combat, torment, strength
3.girafarig Lv.42sychic, assurance, shock wave, gaurd swap
4.honchrow Lv.40:assurance, fly, aerial ace, nasty plot
5.carnivine Lv.44:vine whip, faint attack, cut, bullet seed
6.steelix Lv.44:hyper beam, dragon breath, thunder fang, flash cannon

Feed your lumineon(return) alot of berries and stuff to make it like you, and don't buy any herbs from that on lady.

It's very hard to judge a team that you havent seen in battle.
Also, I'm scoring these low, because you're not providing basic stuff like Nature, EV spreads, and items.
OR a strategy
