Ode to Chief

So I was playing New Leaf and cycling villagers to make room for the last dream villagers I needed (Drago and Cherry) till I had all the villagers I wanted. It was late, nobody had pinged me even after moving several days forward. I saved and went to bed. The next morning I picked up where I had left off. I moved two days forward without thinking, I had forgotten that I was still looking for a ping. I got a letter in the mail, it was from Chief... he had moved away Q^Q

Chief was in my town when I created it, and he was always my favorite! I had never gotten a picture from anyone when they moved, but he had sent me his in his goodbye letter. I wanted to cry, of all the villagers to move it had to be him...

Most of this is pretty much how it happened, even the letter is almost ver batum to the two letters he had sent that day. It was a couple days after New Years, and the second to last panel was taken from what he said during the fireworks show on New Year's Eve.

Oh man, Chief is one of my oldest buds. If he were to ever move out quietly like that, I'm pretty sure I'd cry. Great comic. I liked it a lot (and I'm sorry about what happened)

Chief is such an important part of my life. He's the reason I say harumph to people when they make me mad. I love him. Your comic is very sad. I'm sorry for your loss. Hope you get him back though

Aw this happened to me too (except he wasn't a starter, he was an old favourite of mine from City Folk). I ended up cycling through 16 villagers and lost two dreamies due to the fact I hated cycling I ended up changing my dreamies. But I luckily have Chief back in my town now ^^
