Odd Things your Dog or pet does.

My dog won't eat his food from a bowl. I had him since he was 10 weeks old. I have no idea where he learned this from but he'll take his kibble from the bowl and put it on the floor, then eat it. Oh, he likes to give hugs and kisses too. Literally put his paws around your neck to lick your face.

Aw. My dog does that too!! So nitpicky. My dog can barely even drink water because it splashes. He refuses to go in the backyard either because we have a pool.. We suspect someone once tried to drown him but seriously a two inch deep bowl of water!?? I guess as much as we confuse them, they confuse us!

My chickens like to lay in the sun when it comes in through the window. They will literally stop what they're doing and plop down on their side with a foot sticking out. They have such a determined look when they do it too. It's so cute!

My dog likes to sit behind me on the back cushion of the couch and rest his head on my shoulder. My cat is pretty heavy and always feel the need to sit on whatever I'm doing too, that or he claws the **** out of my hand if I'm not paying attention to him.

Oh! My dog also likes to cuddle by placing his neck on my neck when we are laying down. It was cute when he was just a little puppy but now hes a year and a half old. Oh, and he likes to get as close to my back as possible when I'm laying down, his cuddles are the best but my boyfriend doesn't think so haha

One of my cats likes to sit on some chest kind of thing in our living room, there is a mirror above it, and she likes to sit there and look at people in the mirror, and if she isn't looking, I wave at her then she looks at me from the mirror, it's funny and kind of creepy and the same time xD Well, except this one time, I went down stairs at night, everyone else was upstairs sleeping I think, and she was just downstairs in the dark, looking in the mirror

My dogs are food obsessed but the one just really doesn't seem to enjoy things as much if they're a soft texture. She spent ages the other week trying to eat a sausage....spitting it out and picking it up again.
Also, whenever there is a chair left pulled out at the kitchen table, we will very often walk in and see her resting her elbows on it and looking out the window. Just like a person

My cat likes to hit me in the head with his paw while I'm trying to sleep. It hurts because he'll have his claws out, so I get a good poke to my head. Then he'll jump on me and lay as close to my head as he can, and meow loudly in my face. He wants attention all night long. Lol.

Trying to put a harness on a small puppy is an absolute nightmare. She won't have any of it, any suggestions?

At times, I think my dog thinks he's a cat. We will find him randomly sitting on armrests of chairs, sitting in the sun first thing in the morning, and he tries to get into people's laps when they're on laptops (or tries getting under the laptop) or playing games.

My pet, Yoda use to chew on my shirt and then fall asleep on my lap. I loved that cat with all my heart and i get emotional every time i talk about him. I still miss him :c

My dog will often sleep in the crack between the back of the couch and the couch cushions. My cat will often jump in a startled way at nothing. My cat also has a fear of cucumbers, but I don't know if that's odd because it seems like a loooot of cats hate cucumbers. He's fine with zucchini, oddly enough.

This isn't super odd, but I have a cat that plays fetch. Her favorite things to fetch are plastic spoons and forks... If you just rattle the box around, if she even hears the sound of plastic utensils hitting something, she comes running. She always stops right before she gets to you, as she brings the utensil back. Always just outta reach. She loves torturing us

Well, it's not my cat, but still.
My aunt has a cat, and when I first met him, she told me that when you scratch him on one particular place on his back, he will start licking his paw, as if he's cleaning it. It's super weird, because it's true, too! I scratched him on that place, and he started to lick his paw. When I stopped, he did too, and so on. Not sure what that was all about.

my dog is a big needy turd and if she doesnt get attention for like 2 minutes she cries and if i dont pay attention to her after she cries, she sits as close to my face as possible and just curls up and gets comfy
it's v sweet but sometimes i rly need to get work done and she just invades my space

My dogs are always doing odd things but something else they do is as soon as I go out of the room at night, they know it's bedtime so they deliberately move over to the place where I sit and stay there. They just won't move and I end up having to shove them off the bed.
They hate going outside when it's raining yet take them for a walk and they will head straight for the water and mud. End up soaking wet yet they will go out of their way to avoid walking in a puddle in the yard...

When my cat was a kitten, she would start chasing her tail whenever she was riled up. She also used to play with sheets of paper. It was amusing to watch to her destroy my old schoolwork. xD

I've a cat and a catfish that are basically best friends. Since we got him nearly two months ago she has been obsessed with him - sleeps less, won't eat unless she gets her food in front of his tank, etc. She chases him and pats the glass and he doesn't seem to mind at all. It's adorable.

my dog does this thing where when shes really excited (or if we "Wind her up" aka hold her until shes squirming to get out) shell run laps around the furniture as fast as she possibly can. i might try to film it sometime or something, its a cool party trick lmao. my friends always want us to do it when theyre over. she seems to enjoy it, she excitedly trots around afterwards, and its decent exercise, so i dont think its a problem?
