Odd sound, help me

Alright, I need help on investigating an experience that has disturbed me greatly and made me not want to play Wild World again.. last night, while playing it, I heard a very loud and frightening sound come from the game. (I was wearing headphones) It sounded kind of gurgly, and like a bellow. I was standing by a river and the game time was set to May 26th, if that matters. I really really doubt it was a mole cricket or cicada or anything similar. Has anyone else heard anything like this, or am I going crazy....

I have played a decent amount of Wild World and I have never heard a sound like you are describing. I also tried to search online, but could not find any instance of this event happening. As far as I know, this is not a part of any Animal Crossing game.

It came from the headphones, and it was late at night, completely silent with nothing else to make such a noise.

The best explanation I have is that it was most likely a random glitch that occurred out of the blue.
