Ocean Sunfish

Are you disappointed when you realize an ocean sunfish you catch is not a shark?

Or when you just catch one in general? Doesn't have to be bc it's not a shark.

The Ocean Sunfish will sell for 4000 bells at Re-tail so it's never a disappointment although I'd much prefer a 15000 bell Shark. The upside is that it will always bring home the gold in an "any fish" tourney.

Nah, because there are worse fish out there to catch. Like sometimes I work so hard for a large shadow, only to find that it's yet another sea bass. Ugh. I don't know why, but it makes me so annoyed to catch a sea bass lol

I hate the ocean sunfish. 4000 bells is not worth a space in my take home box, especially considering how infrequent finned shadows are to begin with.

Yeah, when I'm at the island for bells I make sure to go after 9 pm or around that time so I don't catch them. However I miss out on the Napoleonfish, but that isn't too bad.

Yes, I am, and I'm always somewhat surprised that I am. But I don't take them back to sell at Re-Tail, I wait until the box is full and sell them (cheap) to Kapp'n little girl.

At this point, when I see a large shadow I just scare it away. It's just not worth it. At least it's better than Gamecube where you had to wait until autumn for fishing to actually be worth anything because that's when the sea bass infestation finally stopped.

Not really. I'm aware enough to realize that sunfish are starting to appear so I'm generally ready for the fact that the fish I just saw could be a sunfish.

While it'd feel more satisfying to catch a shark, yes, I don't feel disappointed with a sunfish either since 4000 bells for a fish is a nice amount.
