Obsessed with Amiibo

I currently have Molly, Lily, Willow, and Inkwell all in my town from Amiibo. I can't stop :S

I can't wait to someday soon have Ellie

I only have Medli and W.Link right now, but I'm trying my best to get Cleo (someone may have her for me!), and Etoile from the Sanrio amiibo. That's almost half my town replaced

For some reason I can't really feel connected to the new animals since they're just there for the commercial reasons. Then again, it is up to you how you play, so it's cool that you like them so much. ^^

Yeah it's all a money making thing. Also crossed my mind that it's a feature to utilize for that day that they get rid of the WiFi connectivity like in the older games.

Yeah I kinda get that feeling to, thats why I don't want the splatoon squirrels in town. W.link kinda feels like a normal villager to me only because I never played LOZ c:

I really love the new special villagers, I love LOZ anyway so I had to get all those amiibos. Then I spotted Inkwell and had to get him...so I decided to get Cece and Viche as well. When my Sanrio cards arrive I will be moving in some of those.
And I'm hoping to have the whole AC amiibo collection by the end of the year. I collect the figures so I had a few already

chelsea bc i fell in love with her (still havent been able to visit her in person tho which makes me sad hopefully soon) and raddle bc i love medical doctor/scientist themes, im a sucker for em andni also ADORE medical masks. i own a few for casual wear >>

Bah, it's sort of starting to get the same way for me... I've always really loved the concept, but until the update, I just didn't have any use for amiibo. Now it's so hard to now just spend all my money on amiibo cards.
