Thanks! I thought I'd have to sacrifice something, whether it be fruit, villagers, or some layout concessions, but no. This has the EXACT layout I wanted, tolerable villagers (I never liked Chow but in conjunction with Chester he's adorable, they look like father and son, hah!), favorite fruit (peaches!), only ONE pond (YAY!), and all the public buildings in fantastic places. ^__^ Now to be super super careful with villager plot resetting so I don't ruin it. @_@

It's like, during the six hours I was sometimes saying to myself "This is not worth it because you're never going to find what's perfect" but nope, I'm so glad I kept going because I did. ... now to fill it with villagers who aren't terrible.

My town has retail and townhall next to eachother too. x) Got lucky with the fact there's only a small section of the four squares that's cut off from the rest of the beach. Having it cut down the middle is awkward.

Downside is Punchy moved a square away from the beach access where I was going to make a little beach house but that's okay because I always imagine him laying around in the sun. Hopefully I can get Kyle to move next to him if I manage to snag him. <:
