o.0 What the meep is happening in this town? SO MANY BELLS!

Hello! :3 Sorry if this isn't the place to post this or something, I kinda just joined ^^; So hi!

But anyway, there's this town I've been visiting lately, and every time I go there, outside the train station, there are bells EVERYWHERE! And I don't mean a few bags here and there, I mean MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of bells! Which leads me to wonder, .... WHY? And HOW?

Is this just an incredibly generous person who put them out for people to take? Do they just like showing them off? Also how are they even GETTING that many? Their town is clearly hacked (Having both Redd and Katrina simutaniously, cafe on the beach, etc) so are they hacking the bells into the game maybe? Just LOOOOTS of beetle catching?

I'm just very confused and would like your thoughts XD I'd ask him/her myself, but every time I show up to their town they seem to be AFK, just sitting on one of their town benches and not really doing anything. Maybe I just keep showing up at bad times or something, who knows XD Any ideas?

PS: I did lurk around here before actually making an account and joining, and I did add some people from here (But I kinda don't remember who tbh ^^ sooooooooo if that's you, .... Hi! Also please explain yourself. Lol!

Hey, maybe you could, y'know, share the friend code? Ehh? Lol jk, and yeah they probably did hack it in. I have a powersaves that I unfortunately can not use on my town, since it's a digital download. But I do have a physical copy that I haven't started up, so that'll be my second town to hopefully cycle villagers. Looking forward to it!

I didn't know it was possible to hack a hand held game console. With that said, giving yourself money the wrong way defeat the whole purpose of the game.

I'm lazy in real life and wish that was the case but I work hard in game. Then again I'll work hard to if all I had to do was fish and hit rocks.

ACNL can be hacked, it's pretty common but people don't publicise it here as it's not allowed.

I would assume that person hacked in their bells, since they have other things in their town that point to hacking.
It is possible to get several hundred thousand bells though, especially if you've played a while. I have over 500mil right now. All came from different sources, I sold Diana for an awful lot of bells, massive transaction. I also sold turnips in a turnip town with high prices, changed the time so I could use the day time for island fishing and big catching for the rare stuff. Giveaway towns, raffles. All sorts of ways

Oh and I used to sell my tbt...100 at a time for 20 mil. I got a load doing that

Agree, it is too easy to get bells especially with TBT or TT but I just find having unlimited money defeat the purpose of the game. When you finally complete a project it doesn't feel like you did anything to accomplish it.

The feeling of accomplishment I think is rewarding in itself at least for me.

It is more the obtaining villagers and designing the layout that makes the game for me. I'm redoing a large proportion of my town right now and it's made it much easier to get rid of pwps knowing I can afford to just rebuild them again. We all have different ideas of what this game is for and what we use it for/how we enjoy things. Don't think there is a specific way that it should be played

That is kind of funny. Are they like 99k or 100 bells? They look the same if you just want to decorate. My island is covered with fruit baskets of only two fruit because I thought it would be fun. I have a friend who decorated their main entrance with crowns, and they were totally hacked.

depends. igb is pretty cheap here and you can easily get 20mil and then get another order in of 20mil c:
