Notifications on for Threads you are active in?

Sorry if this question has been asked already!

Is there anyway of turning notifications on to see when a new post has been posted in the threads you have posted in?

Hoping that all makes sense?

You can subscribe to a thread under "Thread Tools" (in the bar under the title, next to "Search Thread", "Rate This Thread", "Display"). Then if you go to "Settings" (between "My Profile" and "Logout" in the header bar), you can see if there are new posts to the threads you are subscribed to.
