i'm so sorry! this is my fear everytime i TT and i end up holding my breath whenever i see isabelle pop up on the start screen hoping she won't tell me how sad it is one of my favs is moving away

ah sorry that's happening. there are lots of threads here you can check out about safe time travelling so that hopefully nobody moves out on you again. the main thing is getting a villager move-out ping that you deny, then you can save, log off, and safely time travel whatever distance you need for your next game load up.

I'm sorry to hear that.
That's why you have to be careful with TT if you have villagers you care about ;-;
Gotta talk to one villager each day at least 10-12 times to see if there are rumors of someone leaving.

Update: Someone agreed to give Sydney a good home. She says I can visit her! I'll miss her but I'm glad Sydney's safe

You might be able to get a new Sydney or maybe that person would be willing to give her back if she ever wants to move out again?
I don't know if villagers will want to / be willing to move back to an old town or not.
Never tried.

Yeah, if you cycle through 16 villagers, you can get her back! Don't lose hope!
