I want to make a themed town but I just finished pathing my whole town which took under 2 days, I don't like my map,my villagers eyes, even my house but I can't gather the courage to restart ._. I need help

What kind of theme are you wanting ? My first town didn't have a theme at first. I was was able to make it 4 seasons without restarting. I guess it depends on what theme you want.

How long have you been playing ? I know paths can be a pain, and take some time to lay down, but if you're really unhappy with your town, it might be worth it to restart. If you recently started your game, then you won't lose much progress and can easily get back what you had in no time. However, if you've been playing awhile and have made a ton of progress, you might want to think about restarting.

The only pwp I've gotten is the camping cot one and I don't have emporium or Katrina,I want a jungle like theme or zen maybe

You have hit on the main problems here. The map, your eyes and your house (I take it you mean where you built it) will not change. Paths can be changed in hours but regaining what you have managed to accomplish will take longer. Working with what you don’t like is going to be difficult to ignore alternative is to reset.

On a positive note if you happen to be a student, the holidays are here and you will have time to play a bit longer than when at school/college/university or whatever. Despite working full time, I have managed to start a new town 3 weeks ago and I have made so much progress with nothing transferred from my other towns because it is a challenge. Perhaps you could join one of the challenges for motivation? A bit late but you can still make progress.

On the other hand if you have accumulated furniture, flowers, fruit, etc. and are worried about losing them, I have a town that is not developed and can hold your stuff for you.

I will have a lot of time on my hands so that's good and it would be awesome if you could hold my items(just bells and some bamboo, tools.) thank you so much by the way :)I a,m going to restart

I am glad to be of some help.

Let me know when you want to transfer and I will open for you to bring you stuff in. Also, remember, check the guide and get a pair of good lookin’ eyes. Don't leave it to chance! Keep resetting until you get a good map too. Just hit home and close if you don't like the choice of maps.

How do you keep dreamies?

Rosie's idea above is a very good one. It will keep you both motivated.

The FC you will need to add for holding stuff is 3539-9251-5269.

okay, and another problem is how I'm goona do the theme

Okay, I have two completed themed towns, Anubia – Egyptian and F1-motor racing. Retreat is going to be about getting away from it all and Jardin is mainly gardens with a slight fairy tale feel to it. The way people start their themes differ.

I personally start with an idea of how I want the town to look. The next step is the lay out of the town/map (river, open spaces, etc) to fit what I want. For example, Anubia I wanted space for pyramids and where I could create a village; for F1 open space and places to place bridges so that I could easily lay the race course while for Retreat; I wanted a river that creates an island.

I would wait and get at least 8 villagers before starting to lay out where paths will be or to make a final decision where you want to put PWPs. Having said this you could always reset to place villagers away from where you want your PWPs:lemon: Anyway, we are jumping far ahead. Start by getting the ideal map then take it from there. Feel free to ask me once you get the map. The majority of people here are so nice and helpful and will advise too.

*** Remember, it helps to dream or visit other people’s towns with a similar theme to get inspiration!
