I spent all of yesterday putting down some new stream paths and moving all of my flowers down to the beach and sorting them. And now I really dont know what I want to do with them all or how to arrange them in my town... Im so stuck! Should I only stick to one color of flowers? One kind of flowers?

What do you think would look nice? My paths are peachy colored. You can check it out if you want, my DC is on the left.

I think you should make flower patterns. Like lets say white and pink Roses, you make a pattern like this:

These kind of patterns will fit really nicely with your town espically if you have a fairytale town.

you can also make more patterns with different colour flowers. Also if you have all the hybrid flowers, make a rainbow out of flowers. You can find many on google.

here are some tips*
(note that there is no "correct" way of doing things, these tips are based on what I like but might not be something you enjoy. also note that I'm using pictures from my different towns to illustrate my points, but Im not using paths like yours so they wont be too inspiring in that sense)

SPOILER BECAUSE I ADDED A BUNCH OF PICTURES/TEXT
1- there is no need to overthink landscaping, but do some brainstorming beforehand. figure out what kinds flowers, bushes, trees, and pwps work best with your paths. don't be too strict with your vision though, sometimes certain things work out in unexpected ways. however, if there is a specific pwp that you want in a specific place but haven't unlocked it yet, then try to save the space for it

1.5- one thing to keep in mind when choosing paths though: make sure that they all go well together. your paths don't need to all come from the same creator (I like to mix and match) but try to choose colors that work well together and styles that flow as well. for example, with one town I chose paths were grassy and cute but "realistic" while my other has paths that are bright and cartoony. you said you picked peachy paths, so make sure that the other QRs you got work well with them

2- don't be afraid to mix different flower colors and even different flower types. fields of identical flowers can look nice, but adding in some mixture can make up for interesting gardens:

3- use every resource that's available to you, not just bushes, flowers, and trees but also: bamboo, bamboo stumps (various stages), tree stumps (various stages also), clovers, mushrooms, even rotten perfect trees, and even trash can be beneficial to the overall look of your town if think of a good way to incorporate them!

3.5- mixing in different elements will also add more texture to your town/make things more interesting. and of course don't forget to mix in PWPs with your natural elements

4- don't be frustrated by rocks or villager houses that you cannot move or destroy, instead to plan out your town in such a way that those rocks/unwanted houses work to your advantage

5- sometimes less is more. other times you need to go bigger. figure out what works best for each particular situation (I have some trees planted in those empty spaces on the 2nd pic, but the angle of the picture hid them)

6- most importantly, and this is going to override everything I've said: do what you like best. at the end of the day the person loading up your town every day will be you and nobody else. if somebody dislikes something that you love whatever! keep doing what makes you happy! again these are just things that I like and pictures of my towns, so don't feel forced to abide by these tips if you don't agree with them

I think Starfall and Pocky pretty much nailed the best advice/ideas!
When I have a lot of trouble with ideas for landscaping, I'll either google real garden landscapes or visit dream addresses for inspiration. People do so many interesting and creative things that I would have never thought of, and I like seeing how colors get used together in different settings.

like, recently I pretty much hated all orange flowers, but I'm kind of in love with orange/black/white cosmos together for autumn now

Little corners at at a time. Don't try to do everything at once or you'll get bored or annoyed.
That's the only thing I had to add. :)

You guys are awesome! Thank you for the advice! Im def gonna have to take it bit by bit, since I think Im going to stick to mainly white/pink/purple flowers... and Im gonna either need to buy some hybrids or breed some more of my own! I also def wanna get some bamboo and Jacobs ladder!
