Not getting alerted after being quoted?

I haven’t been getting alerts when quoted. For example, a user quoted me in this thread: https://www.belltreeforums.com/threads/inventory-cleanout-flick-egg-and-more.582346/

And I didn’t get an alert to it. I don’t have that thread open on a different tab and my preferences are set to receive alerts when quoted.

The post that I was quoted in was made at 1:59 p.m. today. Here are my alerts from around then:

I believe this has happened before to me, but this is my most recent case - has anybody else had problems with this?

You did not receive a notification for the quote in this thread due to the post merge. Edits and post merges will not notify a person; they need to be mentioned/quoted when the post is initially made to trigger a notification.
