I traded villagers with a fellow TBT member a few days ago.
Since I haven't been playing ACNL that often lately, I just remembered what day I was on and kept TT back to that day until I was ready to start the daunting task of plot re-setting Beau.

Well, it has been 6 in game days and Beau still has not plotted his house down. Ankha is long gone so I figured he would soon..

Is it possible I lost him by waiting to plot him down? I wouldn't think so as I've done this before and had no problems. OR does it just take forever sometimes?

Thanks in advance.

it took me about 15 days once lmao
but idk i asked for help then and some people said they got a letter in the mail from the villager that was supposed to be moving in and it said they weren't going to move in? but i think that's unlikely just keep moving forward each day and they'll probably show up eventually
good luck!

So: you had 9 villagers (including Ankha, who was in boxes), then you went to adopt Beau? And before/afterwards, someone came over to adopt Ankha?
If that's what happened then you're fine! Sometimes it takes extra long when another villager is currently moving in/out.

If Ankha's house was already gone by the time you invited Beau in, then he never showed up, that is more worrying :/
Still probably fine though c:

wait you TTed back? but why would you do that? I'm somewhat confused. I mean if you were planning on plot resetting for Beau you could've just TTed to the date you lasted played not TT back until you reached the last day you played. I think TTing back triggered the fact that Beau's plot wouldn't appeared. I think you should've just loaded the game when you finally got to play again unless again you were going to plot reset, but it seems like that wasn't your plan.

Correct, I had 9 villagers plus ankha who was in boxes when I asked Beau to move in. They came first to pick up Ankha then I went for Beau. Ankha's house was still there when I invited Beau to move in.

I suppose I didn't clarify well enough, lol. I didn't TT back day by day. I only TT back to the day I last played like you said. So the game thought it was still the same day.

I'm just hoping it's one of those times where it takes a long time for him to move in, I wouldn't be too incredible sad if he didn't move in, he's not a dreamy or anything I just thought he would be cute for a while while I cycle through some villagers to get my sweet Punchy back :P

hmm well there's times where it does take longer for a villager to move, so you can still try to TT forward. on the 7th day you are guaranteed a villager will plot their house down. have you checked your mail to see if he sent you a letter saying he won't move in after all?

I haven't checked my mail yet, I was too worried to load up my main character lol
I suppose I will do that now though and check for a note, it has been 8 days now and no villagers. I still have 8 villagers.

EDIT: Just loaded up my main, all I have is a letter from Ankha saying her goodbye.
EDIT: 9 days later, Beau has finally plopped (and in the PERFECT spot on try 1... talk about luck!)
