My town just corrupted. ;_;

I honestly don't know why. I have a physical copy and I've never dropped it or anything. I kept it on a table last night and in the morning it was still there, so it didn't fall or anything. Maybe it magically deleted itself because yesterday I was considering resetting for ~10 minutes

I lost all my villagers. D: I had 5 of my 8 dreamies and a villager that I was going to give to someone else today. I'm particularly sad about Tangy, because I had gotten her in my second town in December, and transferred her to my third town when I reset. Since they day I got Wild World, I've been super careful to make sure she never moved or anything, and now she just got deleted forever... ;_;

I voided this pig villager before and I think she corrupted my town as revenge. Here is some picture proof of her planning to kill my villagers:


I also lost all of my items, some of which I've had since I got my first town. I'm not too upset about that, because I didn't have too much stuff, but still. :c I had some 7-11 items and rare DLC. Also I was holding items for someone else and I should have given them back ~a week ago but I didn't so they're gone now. D:

I did, but I honestly don't think resetting is related to corruption. It's probably just equivalent to turning your game off after saving. But the game can only corrupt after you turned the game off, so it appears to be because of resetting. (or something. idk really)

It's only happened once, so hopefully it's just a one time thing.

I think if you're looking for a new town, you have to be picky. You only get one chance to get the right map, so settle for nothing but the best! You have nothing to lose at this rate. :/. I can't imagine how you feel.
