To be fair, tho, TT'ing isn't always the culprit. I have a town I NEVER TT in and I've still lost villagers. All it takes is to not get that ping or being preoccupied with organising, going to the Island, or whatnot.

Now, TT'ing large chunks of time, which I never do, can and will definitely be a HUGE risk, but TT'ing by itself isn't the only way to lose someone.

I'm so sorry about your Tia! *hug!* I hope you can get her back someday.

I have Tia in my town, and I've always wanted her ever since I got the game. I got her from another town, and her house wasn't original, her catchphrase was inappropriate to me, and she was wearing a pleather vest instead of her garden tee. I still wanted her, and to this day, her house is all fixed up--close to the original! Also, I got her to say her original catchphrase and now she's wearing her original shirt. She looks brand new! If I lost Tia, I would probably cry...and I'm a guy lol. But I would seriously be upset. I hope one day you can have her move back in! Good luck!

me too, its about tt not always being the culprit. I lost Chrissy a few months back, she never pinged me and none of the other villagers mentioned her moving either, i went into her house one day to find her in boxes :'( luckily shes started to visit my shopping street so i get to see her now

I adore her, but if you have another town I will give her to you when she pings to move because I think you love her more than I do and you need her more. I ask that also because if you don't TT anymore you'll have to wait so long for the 16 villager cycle that you'll won't be able to even have a shot at her for ages.

Sorry to hear that. I TT'd a year once by mistake. I had missed the whole day in my village practically. The shops were closed and most of the villagers were asleep. I thought I would TT back a few hours to shop and speak to my villagers. I was very tired at the time and must have messed up big time when starting the game. Yes, I turned the clock back a few hours, but I also leaped ahead one year. At first I had no idea why my mayor had bedhead. When I figured it out a minute later I was panicked in case I had lost a villager.

None of my villagers are really popular. When I bought the game, I did not know much about it. I did not know how many possible villagers there were nor that you could chose them through trading or cycling. I just accepted the ones that moved in and got to know them. I still have all my original first 10 villagers. I am sentimental about them and would hate to lose one, especially Lionel. He's so funny. Anyway I was relieved to see they were all still there.

But I understand from that moment of panic how you would feel if you lost one. Sorry to hear that happened.
