Nook's Cranny upgrade and turnips

Hi guys, today I've been told that the Nook's Cranny will be closed for renewal tomorrow, and this is good, but, accordingly to stalks.io tomorrow I'm also expecting a turnip price big spike! This is bad! I've bought so many turnips on sunday, what's your experience? Can I expect good prices even on Thursday?
