Nook Miles island ticket question

Probably been asked a hundred times so I'm sorry in advance, is there any way to reset your Nook Miles island before you travel or something so you can keep trying to get a villager you want? Or is the ticket locked to a specific villager and you have to buy a new ticket to have a shot at another villager?

If i can reset you KNOW im gonna spend my day hunting for stitches

I believe the ticket you can only use once and to do it again you have to purchase another.

^ it saves the game once you use the ticket, so if you turn off your game in hopes to reset the villager, you just lose your ticket

Yep, no more resetting in this game. However, I just got off one tour and saw Molly and invited her. She cried asking if I was serious. That cutie! My heart literally skipped a beat. I was reminded why this no resetting thing can also be a good thing. The feelings are so real. Lol.
