Nook Mile Tickets

Hello!!! I love how cute Tangy looks, and I want to get her on my island. I just recently kicked Jacob out, so I still have space for one extra villager. The problem is, I don't have a lot of Nook Miles for Nook Miles Tickets. I don't have Happy Home Paradise either, so that's not something I can do. Does anyone know anything that will help me get a handful of Nook Miles quickly?

Do you have Nintendo Switch Online so you can play online with others? If so, the site has a trading section called Nook's Cranny where people can trade items, in-game bells, NMTs, etc. If you are willing to wait until they're online and available, there are even a couple of users who give these items away for free (just check the shop titles).

As for what you can do in-game, I'm not too sure myself!

It's not the fastest thing in the world, but just keep doing whatever the Nook Miles+ tells you to do? It's pretty boring, but, I think it's the only way to reliably get miles. Or look at all your big ones, if there's any that's almost complete it's pretty chill to just get those out of the way for 500-1000 miles.

Other than doing the Nook Miles+ objectives over and over, or time traveling to collect the 300 miles from the ABD each day, not much you can do, especially without HHP.

If you can, it might be worth it to invest in a month of NSO or a Tangy Amiibo. Unfortunately, unless you're in the tutorial stage where the game is guaranteeing you'll find a Peppy villager with NMTs, your chances of finding Tangy are going to be very slim, since the game rolls for species, and then villager of the species.

Provided you don't have any cat villagers already on your island, the chance of finding tangy is ≈0.12%, so you will need about 2,411 NMT (2,411,000 miles) to guarantee finding Tangy.
