Nook Glitch?

Ok i have rebuilt my town and i have nooks cranny. I have sold about 40,000 bells there and have brought about 20,000 and he is not remodeling to Nook n Go. Is there something wrong ?

Im not sure but once you pay that much you gotta wait on the bulleten board they say so and so etc
