I was trying to TT someone out. I didn't notice Marshal moved. I'm so sad.

Is there any way to get him back? I turned off my DS and didn't save as soon as I realized he was gone.

Did you load up as your mayor? If you did then he would of moved still D: You'd have to pass the painful 16 villager cycle to get him back

Ok, I'm actually at the menu where I'm trying to change my time. Should I turn off the DS and load on a new save file?

Its my fault... I wasn't careful enough. I guess I'll pick another dreamie, for I don't want to do the 16 villager cycle. Marshal, you will be dearly missed. </3 If anyone has more info, please let me know; if there is any way to get him back or if it is too late.

Shut down while being at the menu if you want, either damage has already been done, or you're about to do damage by logging in. I'd take the chance and check with a new save file first.

I think they mean Marshal moving out. In my experience, if you've logged in on your mayor and they're moving, they'll move anyways no matter how many times you restart. ): Happened with Skye for me the first time... I almost cried. You can either do the cycle or get a new dreamie. I cycled through all 16 because I really wanted her.

I don't think I'll ever try to TT someone out again; I'll just let nature take its course. Its too risky. I even talked around town to see if anyone was moving, but I received no warning. *sigh* Thanks for all of your help.

If it helps, I generally go by the 2 day rule (since I have all my dreamies now, I don't want anymore moving out, but I still TT).

For example:
Skye asks to move out on Monday, I say no.
Safe to TT through Tuesday
Safe to TT through Wednesday
Thursday - I ask my snooty, Diana, to see if anyone is moving. If she doesn't answer, I ask another. (if neither tell me, then I can TT)
I continue to repeat what I do on Thursday every day until someone wants to move again.

If you do decide to TT again and it has been a while since your last ping, ask multiple animals to see if they'll tell you.
