No Villager Favors/Requests

I searched the forum but I couldn't find any recent posts on this. I have gotten NO villager favors or requests, and I've played since release. They tend to loop comments, too, and say the same things over and over.

Is there a path to get villagers to ask for favors and requests? I do talk to them multiple times a day, but I don't give them many things or mail them letters. I have a 4-star town, everything is unlocked to this point, so I'm really hoping they start asking for things soon!

I got one from Julian a while back, about getting him a bug, but I didn't what it to be displayed, so I didn't do it. Apart for this one, I only have found lost items, but no requests.

you gotta have some sort of friendship with them, and keep talking to them until they get sick of you. I always get requests as the 3rd or 4th dialogue option in a row. I always look at it at them telling me to scram already and catch a bug or smth. lol

I recommend talking to all of them non-stop until they tell you they need to think

Wow, that's weird. I usually get one or two a day. Then again, I talk to my villagers a lot. I think raising your friendship level with them definitely helps, so try sending some letters with presents and keep talking, even when they repeat themselves or act like they're tired of you during their initial greeting..

I get them very rarely. I talk to all my villagers at least 2-3 times a day too :/

I get them everyday.. Zucker just asked me to catch him a black bass... Aside from that, my villagers must think I am a Nooks rep as they are constantly wanting to sell me stuff.. LOL
