nah you don't need an amputation for mild frostbite, stupid tourists on the mountain get it all the time. it just looks really bad for 2 weeks or so and hopefully heals. severe frostbite causes the tissue to totally die, then you need it removed.
fftopic: ----> I'm pretty scared of Sledding now. Saturday, I went down a huge hill, not knowing there was a giant wall like haystack at the bottom. I went backwards, hit the haystack, went 10 feet in the air, blacked out for like 20 mins. Hey, sure it sounds like I'm trying to get attention, and its basically what I'm doing. (still true tho)
