No one has asked to move for nearly 3 weeks now

I’m curious to see if anyone else has had this issue because it’s starting to irritate me now.

So I had my last, and so far only move out, on the 2nd of this month (Billy for any curious) and then had my next move in on the 4th (Marina after I found her on an island). All well and good, I liked Billy but he was stuck in the generic starter home so I decided to let him go.

Now I browse this forum quite a lot and have seen that the time frame between move outs is set for approx 2 weeks with a lot of people saying that they’ve experienced this. So why on earth am I coming up to 3 weeks now and still nothing? I’m curious to know if anyone else has had to wait this long (or god forbid longer).

And just for clarity I don’t time travel so there’s no possibility of me having bugged something by doing that.

Like so much else in this game, it’s random. If most people take “about 14 days” and you’re at 18-20, that’s still close enough to just be poor RNG luck. Also, villagers don’t always have thought bubbles right away when you play. If you’re only playing for 30-60 minutes a day, or if you’re talking to each villager once and then maybe not going into an area where a particular villager is walking around after that first conversation, there’s a chance you might be missing the occasional bubble?

It can take quite a while. My last villager moved out towards the end of April, and Anabelle asked to leave last Friday. I simply took it as a compliment that my villagers liked my island, lol.
