No Mush furniture?

So I played yesterday, November 1st, expecting to find some new mushrooms and a piece of the mushroom furniture set. Instead, I only got 1 new mushroom and no mush furniture.

I have 4 mushrooms sitting out as decoration around my firepit/campsite. I was wondering if that's why I only got 1 new one to spawn. If I pick those up, will I get the full amount the next day?

I do have quite a bit of landscaping done, but there are plenty of open spaces next to trees for the mushrooms to spawn.

Any thoughts?

The only thing I could imagine is that they need more room.
Maybe pick up any extras to be sure and keep the spots around trees empty?

I recently read that if you leave mushrooms outside as decoration the game counts them in the daily total of five.

Yes, you need to pick up the mushrooms. Any mushrooms on the ground count towards any that pop up. Just pick the ones you got on the ground right now and store them. Some new ones should pop up the next day.

Great, thank you all! I'll pick up the mushrooms for now and also clean up some of the non-hybrid flowers I have lying around just to create more space.

I got all of the mush furniture last year, but I only kept one of each in storage. Now I've decided I want more mush lamps and maybe mush chairs, so I was looking forward to mushroom season to get them on my own.
