No longer a dreamie...

Kabuki. I traded Marshal for him, which I don't really regret.. but I didn't click with Kabuki as much as I wanted to. I liked him better when I had him in Wild World

I haven't got a dreamie list and I want to keep my villagers coming and going (the only ones I want to keep are Katt, Fang and Beau).

But I know what you mean with having a spark with the villager or not having it.

When I just started the game I plot resetted for my 8th villager until he found a good spot (and they were different villagers as well) until there was a good plot and it ended up being Beau. When he was unpacking his boxes I came to talk to him and thought 'cute' but nothing more. But the next day when I talked to him in my town he was just so sweet with talking and inviting, unlike my other lazy at the time (Drake). I really had a click with Beau, so I've decided to keep him with me <3

I invited Blanche from the campsite because I liked her snootyness when talking to her and playing games in the tent, but when she was finally walking around town she was just.. being there. I talk to her and all, but I don't feel like I really bond with her.

Never felt it. My only 'dream' villagers are Lobo and Tia, and of the two of them I've only actually managed to obtain Lobo.

I feel like people get too caught up in this whole 'dreamie' concept while they're participating in online communities. If you were playing just by yourself without the help of the internet, I think people would be a lot happier overall: they wouldn't be lusting over villagers or searching so fiercely and would probably be happier with what they already have. So it doesn't surprise me that once the excitement of the search is over that people lose interest: they build it up so much in their heads that once it happens they realise that the villager is just the same as any other villager they've had with that same personality.

I really wanted Beau for quite a while, but now I've got him, I feel pretty "meh" about him. Don't get me wrong, I like him, but not as much as I thought I would. The fact that he has a house in an awkward place and that the lazy personality is my least favourite doesn't really help. There are also other deer villagers I think I might like more, and I don't want to have a town that has too many of one species.

That was me with Phoebe. I got her, and after having her for about 2 weeks, I was tired of her and wanted to replace her.

I was debating between Zucker and Drago but I ended up with Drago and I'm very glad I did since Drago is really cute. I hadn't seen Zucker ingame at that point but I later saw him and he looks just creepy.

Aaah so happy I ended up with Drago lol. xD

I kinda had the reverse thing with Stitches. I invited him because he was so popular but I ended up liking him. But then I traded him for Marshal + Merengue, my top two dreamies! (I don't regret it at all. At least I have Stitches in my shopping street now!)

I have Zucker AND Drago XD

Which remind me of me getting Cookie, all excited and happiness overflow and to realize I hate her superior big eyes xD I end up letting her go on her first ping.

I had that with Beau, he seemed so bland from the beginning, I kept him for months thinking he will grow on me, but he never did. In the end I gave him to a friend and got Flurry, best decision!

I never had a dreamie! Im having trouble letting go of a villager.. Two of mine moved out due when i time travelled :(

I had this with Bianca.
I met her in a town and knew she wasn't ment to live in my town, even though I had been looking for her for a long time.
But she wasn't REALLY a dreamie, more like a wanted villager.
My dreamies I love to death and I don't think I can get tired of them, hahaha.

I needed a cranky...loved wolves...spent 4.5m on Wolfgang...

and I don't like him that much. It was such a on-the-moment decision xD

This happens to me a lot. Thankfully I have a second copy now so I can test out my villagers there before I invite them to my main town.

Happened to me with Colton. For a long time I really wanted the guy, only to end up thoroughly neglecting him when I ended up getting him. Maybe it's because he was a random move-in, or maybe I just realized I didn't like Colton much at all.

Julian is my main smug now. I like him a lot better.

The only reason I think I loved Marshal so much is because I'd never actually hoped to get him because of his crazy prices but he came to my town as a random move in :)

molly and flurry... maybe it's because i have too many normal villagers and i do like them but they aren't as fun as i thought they would be :/ oh well i will still keep them for a while :3

molly is REALLLLLLLY cute

this happens a lot with normals tho, their dialogue is so restricted and they're so extremely sweet that people find them boring.

I wanted Henry because he looked cool, had a personality that I didn't have a dreamie of and had the same birthday as me. Then right before I reset he moved into my town! I was so happy until I realized he had these gross ugly brown spots on the back of his head. :(
