no glowing spots for days

is that possible? i still get it from my second character but not for my main.

and yes, there are still open areas it could spawn. i might have covered up the areas it used to be on before, but i don't think that should be an issue.

i feel like i’ve been around everywhere... this could mean it must be on a hidden place, behind a tree or cliff because if i haven’t seen it for days, it stays the same place

Is it possible for someone to come over to help find it via internet or do they stop appearing once the gates open?

it could be possible it’s hidden itself behind a tree or something, try looking for it at night, it’s more easier

i think it stops appearing, i’m actually not sure but i searched again and i couldn’t find it.

is this an actual glitch others are facing? i did ignore the glowing spots plenty of times the last week because i was too lazy to plant a money tree

It could be a bug, but definitely take the time to go around your entire island checking behind furniture, trees, bushes, etc. Check every nook and cranny. heh

I had no money spots for a while either, but that’s because my entire island was covered in mannequins, but it started appearing again once I was finished, but you already stated that wasn’t the case, and I was told that they need a 3x3 area. Are you sure you didn’t just find it and plant it? Happens to me sometimes.

mine is apparently a space issue. i'm sure they haven't appeared for a week for 1 of my villager, i wouldn't just forget that. i've solved it now though.

basically, i also covered my island but with paths so the rocks would stop spawning on certain areas. and it does need a clear 3x3 area (for the tree, unlike fossils) and one thing i noticed is that it needs to be on the 1st level. i don't know if this is accurate but i've never found a glowing spot uphill--pretty sure i have an open 3x3 there and that's basically where i expected some of them to appear, but they never do. like i said i'm not sure of it, it could be a flower covering the ground that can be an issue on my cliffs. now, i cleared an area near the beach and i saw one again yesterday & today.

and also, depending on how many characters you have, each of them would need separate 3x3 areas. it can't spawn on the same place for the reason that it has to be clear in order to plant a tree.

That’s great to hear! Glowing spots do appear on all levels, I recall digging and planting on the second and third levels of my town...flowers don’t prevent themfrom spawning as I saw one that spawned in the middle of my breeding garden, they also spawn on dirt paths too
