No Emporium?

Hi all,

So a few days ago Gracie came to my town for the fourth time and once I passed the fashion check she gave me the usual opening a boutique. But there?s still no sign of my TIY changing to the Emporium.

Is it possible I haven?t spent enough money in TIY to unlock the upgrade? Has this happened to anyone else before?

I may be wrong, but I always thought you had to pass 10 of her stupid fashion checks.

30 days has to pass since the last store was built. Items need to have a sold out sign. Paper is one that wouldn't count.
You can sit at the tree and check the last store date built.

I think you need to spend 100,000 bells, 4 Gracie fashion checks, and 31 days since TIY opened.

For a few days, try buying out the stuff that can be sold out. Yes, it can happen that you pass all four fashion checks and she says she'll make a store, but you still need to meet the monetary requirement.

It used to require someone else to buy something from you store didn't it (or am i mixing up games?). Has anyone else shopped at your store?

they did away with this requirement in acnl ^^

It takes 50,000 bells for Gracie to begin to appear, and 100,000 total for TIY to remodel into the Empirium.

Buy some furniture, carpet, equipment, and items from Leif and it should remodel!

I imagine you?re really close - possibly one or two days. Good luck!
