no easter eggs?

Yes, the exact thing happened to me! Here's what you do. Travel back one day, then back to April 20 (today) but DON'T GO ON AN EXISTING CHARACTER. Make a new character, play until you can save, save the game, then you can delete the character anytime afterward. That's what I did and it worked! Good luck and happy Easter 
I don't know how the tree eggs spawn, but I'd assume they're random like spiders are.
I do know that Water Eggs (Fishing) are always medium-sized shadows in water, and the eggs you get while diving are small sized/stationary shadows. You find Sky Eggs from balloons.
But in the end it's actually possible to be literally unable for your town to produce all 6 types, unfortunately. My town for example spawned 0 fake rocks and 0 dig spots for Bunny Day, thus meaning no matter what it would be impossible to obtain all 6 in my town. (Plus, I have 0 trees in my town since it's under heavy construction so tree eggs can't spawn either)
