So I went to two mcdonalds and two Starbucks today and I didn't get one street pass. so anyone else having a problem connecting here?!

Some of them just seem to not give them out.
Plus I think the 3DS needs to be closed to get a streetpass.

this is true. wwhenevver i go to a mcdonalds, i turn on my 3ds but close it wwhile i use my laptop for a wwhile. ill then check on it and/or play it wwhen i feel like it

I know how to get a street pass ive been doing this for a while. It's closed yes I've been hitting up these two Starbucks and mcdonalds and getting street passes finally getting all puzzle pieces. But now with the new Kirby puzzle I need only the pink ones which means I need street passes. I think it's down I'm calling Nintendo

Talk about overreacting. Give it some time, you don't need the Kirby puzzle immediately.
I thought you could only Streetpass if someone was at the said location or something (I'm not sure since I haven't streetpassed for a while) or are you talking about another thing?

A Nintendo wifi zone is where you can meet people whop have visited there recently like the place saves them so you don't have to actually pass by them to meet them. It's a thing look it up. And it's the new puzzle for triple deluxe
