Nintendo Force

After Nintendo announced that they were stopping Nintendo Power, a bunch of people from around the web, like GoNintendo, IGN, etc. decided to start up another Nintendo Magazine. I think they got Nintendo's permission and they decided to create Nintendo Force, a sort of spiritual successor.

Hmm...why would Nintendo get rid of Nintendo Power and then agree to to a whole new magazine? It just doesn't seem right. From what I gathered though, they weren't hired by Nintendo. But I am interested to know more. And Josh from the Bitblock is one of the team members. I hope it's an actual magazine though and not just an e-magazine, or whatever they are called. I like physical magazines.

To be clear, Nintendo has absolutely nothing to do with this. And it will be both physical and digital.

Sorry but the truth is that this is going to flop hard. There's a reason why Nintendo Power and many other magazines died in the first place:

WAY too much money for me. I'd get it if it was $12 for the whole year.

Nobody wants to pay more than a few dollars for something comprised of what they could get elsewhere for "free". (ad-supported) And to top it all off, most of those people probably run an ad blocker so it's even worse.

Guilty as charged!

Its a shame really, i was looking forward to the magazine, but its way too over priced. I would still love to support them though.

Yah it is a bit pricey. With that price, you could get 12 magazines for a whole year with Nintendo Power. I don't think they can afford a lower price though. I'd support them if I could but right now I can't.
