Hi I?ve got my first Nintendo eshop card,I was just wondering how many times can you use a Nintendo eshop card?

Because I wanna use one for my 3ds but I was wondering if I could use it again on my Nintendo Switch.

What if I use one Nintendo eshop on my 3ds but don’t spend it all can I use it on my Nintendo Switch? Or do I have too use the same accounts?
