Nintendo DSI + Platinum Good or bad?

Well i head that the new DSI coming out had its gba slot removed..

So what do u guys think, would it be a good choice for platinum?

Since u wont have access to any of the old pokemon from the gba versions.
Unless theres a solution to this?

No no, the new nintendo DSI had its Gba slot removed.

So u cant transfer pokemon from the old pokemon GBA games anymore.

U can always use a friends ds to migrate but to play it get a gameboy advance sp for like 20$ which isnt much

Well i know u can transfer them to diamond..

I dont know for sure about platinum yet.
But without the gba slot that seems impossible with a DSI

you know mudkip,Torchick,And treeko (Dont know if im spelling it right) They came emerald, ruby, And the blue one (dont know its name) So they came from the GBA games and the DSI doesn't have the GBA slot. So you wont be able to transfer pokemon from GBA games

yeah thats what sucks about it, so im guessing the DS would be the best choice, unless u can get both.

I bet not. Because why not just buy a DS lite because it plays the same stuff and has a GBA slot
