Nintendo 3ds XL Charging base . . . Brilliant!

I ordered the charging base from the Nintendo website. It just arrived this morning. It's BRILLIANT.

Pros:
Makes good contact.
No moving parts like the one on the regular 3ds
Has a notch so that I don't have to unplug my earphones--sweeeeet!
I can sit it on its charger and still use the 3ds.

Cons:
It will not work with the polycarbonate shell, but that's OK because it was making my hands sweat anyway.

Now I just need a usb charger and a car adapter and I'm all set for going anywhere.

I have the light pink and white 3ds XL. I think I'm going to put some stickers of little flowers and maybe my initials for it.

Didn't realize they had released the XL Charging Cradle for the US, but I can't see myself paying $19 for something I've gotten used to not using.

My boyfriend has the charging case for the normal 3DS and he loves it, I've been using it lately though lol. Think I need to buy one too but can't seem to find a pink one lol

This set here is the best value that I've found. It comes with a case, screen protectors, 3 extra styli that actually fit in the console, car charger, game cases and earphones.

The earphones suck but I've paid more than $9.95 for car chargers and screen protectors alone. Comes in blue as well.

EDIT: the one online may not have the charger but they sell these things everywhere. I think the set with the charger is like $10 more.
